ProjectProgress and Effective Projects today announced that the two companies have signed an agreement to join forces to provide end to end project management solutions to the Public and Private sector. Commencing today, Effective Projects will act as a system integrator of ProjectProgress's Software as a Service (SaaS) application in order to provide integrated solutions to the West Country. At the same time, ProjectProgress will continue sales of its SaaS solution through its existing sales channels.

The cooperation between ProjectProgress and Effective Projects opens new opportunities to bring ProjectProgress's web based solutions to corporate users and will assist in expediting PRINCE2 and MSP roll out and adoption

"We see this cooperation with Effective Projects as an excellent business opportunity to widen the market for ProjectProgress solutions and better serve a growing customer demand," says Simon Harwood, COO, ProjectProgress Ltd. "The service is on the verge of major growth in demand, especially from the private business user. Forecasts have predicted that more than 40,000 organisations will use PRINCE2 to successfully manage projects globally within the next four years."

"Rapid implementation of added value services such as provided by ProjectProgress/Effective Projects collaboration is of crucial importance as managers target under performing project delivery. Organisations need to deliver projects cost-effectively but with the reassurance that staff are using the proven PRINCE2 method. Project Progress allows them to quickly deploy a common approach to projects and shared data across the organisation,” says Adam Humphrey Director Effective Projects.
